Our next concert: "Snow Angel"
January 14, 2023 at 7:30pm

The Acton Community Chorus' upcoming season, "Snow Angel,'' will feature a piece with the same title by the young Canadian composer, Sarah Quartel, with solo cello and djembe. This emotional work brings about the themes of the concert - the army of angels watching over a child, the beauty of winter, and the love and fear expressed through lullabies. But you won't be lulled to sleep, as percussion and cello weave through the concert, summoning the power of the "Angel Band" and the "Voces Lucis (Voices of Light)" through many different musical styles and languages. No audition is required to join!

About Our Concerts

We perform two major concerts each year. Our winter concert, held in January, usually features classical or more formal compositions. Our spring concert features popular songs that make you want to tap, clap, and hum along with us!

The ACC Chamber Singers, a smaller group within the chorus, also performs various free, smaller concerts throughout the year, extending our reach in the community and giving our members a chance to sing more often.
